EDS Family Day @ Zoo

24-Jun-2004 - Sunday - Sunny Day

Little Phoebe was so busy these 2 days. Yesterday went to Sentosa and today had to wake up early and go to the Zoo. Today mummy's company has organised a family day @ Zoo and mummy has registered daddy and myself to the event. This is my first time to the Zoo ... I remembered that I have been to the Zoo before, but that was when I was still in my mummy's stomach! Hahaha ...

There was Uncle Clown and boy! He was so tall!! He gave me 2 bottles of sweet, but was confiscated by mummy... :(

Then I met Mr Elephant and we fed him with mango... Mr Elephant's nose is so wet ... eeeekkk! But I am a very brave girl. I am not scare of Mr Elephant. In fact I like Mr Elephant because he has 2 big eyes and he can fan me during the hot hot weather! :p

Daddy and Mummy decided to get air-brush tattoo at the event. Mummy wanted to get one for me too, but the auntie said cannot as I am too young ... Oh man! I wanted to be like my Daddy and Mummy... with pretty pretty tattoo!

Finally we made our way to see the animals. I saw kangaroo, monkeys, penguins (i even took a picture with the penguin) and snakes. Did not walk further as Daddy and Mummy was very tired and hot!

When we finally went back to the event hall (Forest Lodge), Mummy's colleuge told her that her name was being announced in the lucky draw! Too bad she took me to see animals, or else she could have won the prize...

After the buffet lunch (i was too tired and was sound asleep), Daddy and Mummy finally went home. 3 of us was so tired that we fell asleep once reached Ah Ma's house and woke up only in the evening time.

Hopefully Daddy and Mummy will take me to the zoo again, because I have not see Ms Tiger, Uncle Tortoise, Mr Zebra and lots and lots of friends...

Lau Family Day @ Sentosa

What a beautiful day it was on 23 June 2007! Woke up early (actually not that early) and prepare to go for our long plan outing @ Sentosa! This will be little Phoebe's 2nd trip to Sentosa! Took a few pics and walk for a while, trying to find the best spot to picnic. But halfway through, all of us was so hungry, therefore decided to eat our delicious lunch (home-made sandwiches and salads) at the top of the fort! (if you remember previously little phoebe 1st trip to sentosa, her daddy carried her up the fort)

After resting for a while, and refilling our energy, we head on to our destination - Siloso Beach!

Finally reached and spot the best place for picnic. All of us can finally relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery while having our dinner and little Phoebe can have her brown rice cereal ... since she is still young and can't enjoy our adult food yet! :p

But something happen ... Little Phoebe trying to steal coke! hahahaha .... Sister-inlaw poured a cup of coke and placed it in-front of her. Little Phoebe thought that no one was looking and decided to steal the cup of coke for herself! As she has not master the skill of sitting, she topple over and the cup of coke was splash on her face! Thought that she will be scare and screaming and crying, but praise the lord, little Phoebe was fine! She even laughed at her own silly-ness! Caught her licking her face too! Too bad not enough time to capture some pics as evidence ... Because I am too busy wiping her and cleaning her clothes!

That was a very unforgettable and enjoyful day for all of us!

Wonderful Weekend

Alot of things happen during the weekends. We attended a friend's baby shower and boy! It seems like she is the main attraction! hahaha ... everyone is busy playing with little Phoebe, while her parents are busy enjoying the buffet! hahaha ... some of the hoster and hostess friend's even took a few pics of her! We are such a proud parent! Let you take a look at her outfit that day... Give your comments! :)

Am I cute?

Me with my super dad!

When we reach home, little Phoebe is so tired that she slept from afternoon till evening time. After her dinner (delicious BM!), daddy played with her. But before that, take a look at 2 michellins together, playing computer games! Actually one the big michellin is playing while the baby michellin is so restless! hahaha...

After daddy has cleared the game (guess you can hear it from the above video), he can finally fully concentrate on entertaining little Phoebe. Was playing with her and putting her down on bed when suddenly little Phoebe's head knocked on the bed frame! Quite a loud knock and look at daddy's reaction! Little Phoebe is such a brave girl! hahaha ...

Every morning, my day will be so blessed and beautiful when I wake up, to see my little Phoebe, smiling back at me! Every morning, when she is awake, I will sing this song to her - Good Morning. This will always make her smile (Not sure is it because my singing is so terrible and she is laughing at me? Eehhmmm ...)!

Anyway, I want to take this opportunity to tell my hubby that I love him for who he is. No matter what happen, he will be my best husband in the world. I will support him and give him moral support and emotional support. Little Phoebe wants to tell her daddy that he will always be little Phoebe's super daddy! Little Phoebe knows that she will be save and protected as long as super daddy is around!

Both of us want to tell him that "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! YOU ARE OUR SUPER DAD!"

Surprises! Surprises!

Yesterday little Phoebe gave my family and myself a few surprises! First of all, she finally learns how to turn over from her stomach to her back

and 2nd surprises is that she can finally sit unsupported for a few seconds!

Horray!!! My gal is growing up! Now I am waiting for her to crawl ... Acutally she does know how to crawl but she is crawling backwards... Will try to capture that on video...

I am so proud of little Phoebe!

First Field Trip to Sentosa

It was a nice Saturday morning... My husband and myself slept in till late noon. After lazying for the whole afternoon, my husband decided to bring little Phoebe out for a field trip - SENTOSA. Packed her stuffs and ready for action!
Hubby driving...

with Phoebe safely buckle up and we are on our way!

When we reached the car park of Sentosa, saw this interesting notice. Its a warning sign telling those car owners that during mating seasons, peacock will damage the cars due to the reflection of its ownself. So car owners are parking at the car park at their own risk. If that is the case, what is the car park for if this peacock attack is going to happen? Who is willing to park there and let the peacock damage their car? Strange...

While waiting for my hubby to release in the toilet, try to take a photo of myself and Phoebe together. Finally capture a nice one after almost 10 tries!

After hubby came out, we proceed with our adventure! Saw this beautiful fort and we decided to conquer it. Never see this fort in Sentosa so guess it should be a new attraction. Hubby was getting ready to climb the fort with Phoebe sitting nicely on his stomach.

This is the view half-way through the fort. Hubby is happy and little Phoebe is very excited about this fort...

This is the view when we have reached the top of the fort. Hubby is sweating until his clothes is wet and little Phoebe is a little bit tired. Wonder who is doing all the climbing... Hahaha..

After viewing the fort, we decided to take a stroll along Siloso beach. We pass by a Shoe House and decided to take a picture with little Phoebe, but it was so crowded. So I took little Phoebe to the side of the Shoe House and let her sit on the house and "Konica"...

Down to Siloso beach we go ... Suddenly, hubby and myself heard a very cute laughter. After listening carefully, we realised that little Phoebe is playing with herself. Guess she is too bored, so she decided to entertain herself with her tutu (pacifier)...

After walking to and back from Siloso beach, we decided to call it a day. Both my hubby and myself are so tired, but there is one little angel that is still so active and awake! She keeps wanting her daddy to play with her. Well, as a good dad, my hubby decided to play with little Phoebe, even though he is very tired and hungry and sticky due to the sweating...

After sometime, guess little Phoebe is tired too...

Took a picture of her sleepy and tired face... Very angelic! By the way, what do you think of her new tutu?
